The design style is contemporary responding to the physical attributes of the site. Each apartment has its own car parking space, with two spaces for each penthouse apartment. The car park is placed beneath the building, allowing the remaining unbuilt site to be landscaped as private gardens.
The high quality materials used externally are white acrylic insulated render, with hardwood double glazed windows and doors. Internally, the rooms are prepared for a variety of floor finishes including hardwood floors, tiling, and coir matting , the internal detailing is contemporary wiith shadow gap skirtings, flush doors and door frames and frameless glass.
Founded in 1990, London based Guy Greenfield Architects design contemporary buildings and products that have a rational logic combined with sculptural qualities. Each project whether for a client or in-house responds carefully to brief, context and user needs. The practice has won a range of RIBA and other awards - Stirling Prize finalists in 2001. The practice is particularly concerned with attention to detail, quality, materials and innovation.
