Bodmin, formerly the capital of the county, is a centrally located town within easy reach of both the north and south coasts.  The town's origins date back to the Domesday Book and at that time it was the only town in Cornwall to have a market.  The name Bodmin means "abode of the Monks" but now is well located at the junction of the A30 and A38 trunk roads with a good and expanding range of retail outlets and the focus of significant growth due to its central location, also aided by a main line railway station at Bodmin Parkway.

Office and Staff

Our Bodmin office is a prestigious four storey early Victorian building dating back to the 1840's yet has been fully refurbished to a high standard with a welcoming atmosphere.  The office deals in all levels of residential sales by private treaty, auction, new homes and residential lettings. The Bodmin office is the principal centre for Cornwall for the Fine and Country brand.

The office is managed by Hannah Jeffery, and supported by Andrew Jeffery (Associate Director), Beth Aldridge (Sales Negotiator), Jess Cullen (Sales Negotiator), Marie Truscott (Office Administrator) and Angela Millward (Sales/Lettings Negotiator).

Meet Our Team

I am a fourth generation Estate Agent and have been selling property in the town since 1996. I worked for my family firm for several years until Webbers bought our company in 2000. I am a member of the National Association of Estate Agents and have an NVQ in Estate Agency. I live in Bodmin with my partner, Mike, and I have two children. In my spare time I love going to auctions.

I left Fowey Grammar in 1967 and joined Auctioneers and Estate Agents Rowse Jeffery & Watkins. I was proud to be President of The National Association of Estate Agents in 1997 and am an active member of The Association's College of Fellows. I am a member of Better Bodmin, a group of business leaders appointed to develop the Sustainable Wealth Creation Plan for Bodmin, and from July I will be President of the Rotary Club of Lostwithiel. What time is left I am on my bike.

I began as a part time Administration Assistant with Jefferys Estate Agents. This became Andrew Jeffery Estate Agents and was then bought by Webbers in 2000. I spend my spare time reading, walking, knitting or crocheting and looking after my beloved Westie, Millie.
