The Administration Hub

Successful property management is an essential part in ensuring your investment is properly managed.  We created our ‘administration hub’ which is a team of office-based staff whose key responsibilities include tenant referencing, preparation of tenancy agreements, maintenance and repairs.  The hub is based in newly refurbished offices in Barnstaple and supports the entire office network.  Our approach is to remove the essential but very time consuming administration processes from our ‘front office’.  This enables us to provide a consistent and prompt service and allow the front office staff to dedicate all their time to marketing your property and sourcing a suitable tenant.  From the perspective of your tenant our hub provides an easy to reach point of contact for everything from reporting a dripping tap to setting up a standing order.

Our Administration Hub

I moved to North Devon with my husband in 2009. Like many people we had several wonderful holidays in this part of the world and we wanted to make it our permanent home. We were both lucky enough to not only find a beautiful home but jobs as well. I had the opportunity to work at our local campsite for a season before joining the Webbers Property Management Team. With two grown up children and two grandchildren we always have a steady stream of family and friends that visit us however I do manage to find some spare time to pursue other interests! My husband and I love to walk the North Devon Coastal path and we will often be seen photographing the seals off Morte Point for the Cornwall Seal Group who track the movement of the seals around the UK coast line. As well as being involved with several local committees for various things I have an allotment where I grow all sorts of produce and I love to escape to!

I joined Webbers in early 2017 taking on the role as Lettings Co-Ordinator. After my previous job roles working in customer care, I knew that working with customers was something I was passionate about. I thoroughly enjoy working within the Property Management as I am able to follow through new applicants for our clients, and make sure that their move to their new home is as smooth as possible. In my spare time I enjoy taking my dog for long walks and relaxing at the beach

I have been a Letting Agent since 2005, nearly seven of those years with Webbers. I have a very rewarding role that sees me travelling all over our beautiful North Devon countryside. I enjoy being part of the administration 'Hub' and play an active part in helping to maintain our Landlords' properties to a high standard. The 'Hub' is a very busy place to work but thanks to my amazing colleagues, working hours fly by! I have three 'growing up' children the youngest of which is walking in my footsteps and has taken on the responsibility of testing our Smoke alarms and Carbon Monoxide detectors at home.

I lived in Surrey until the age of 14 when I moved to North Devon with my parents, as they wanted a slower way of life. After a period of adjustment for my teenage self I have grown to love the area and especially enjoy spending time on more remote walks with my dogs and partner. I have a long and varied administration background starting with my first job as a hotel receptionist, through ticket sales and telecoms, leading to the maintenance sector. I enjoy creating order from chaos and I look forward to the challenges of each day.

I was born in Oxford and, after getting married, moved with my husband’s work across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Wiltshire and Suffolk in more than a dozen homes. My previous career was in school business management. In 2006 we moved to our favourite part of the country. I joined Webbers as a Maintenance Co-ordinator early in 2016. My role is varied, liaising with landlords, tenants and contractors to ensure repairs and maintenance are carried out quickly and cost effectively. My experience with my own homes and managing school premises has been invaluable in this role. In my spare time I enjoy modern jive, body boarding and walking as well as socialising with family (especially our children and grandchildren) and friends.

I first arrived at Webbers Commercial as an apprentice administrator in 2011, and have just returned after working in our Lettings Department for the last two years. I am now working part-time for the Department while studying for my degree at our local college. Outside of work and college I like to read novels, bake and (shamefully) watch reality TV! I also enjoy going for walks down to Ilfracombe Harbour and along the South West Coastal Footpath where the views are breath-taking.
