Dunster Village is one of the most popular villages in the South West and has a wonderful community heart, with the local children's play park (approximately 350 metres) being created and maintained by villagers and private donation. The village holds the famous, "Dunster By Candlelight" every December and other events, in the grounds of The Dunster Tithe Barn.

Minehead is less than a mile away and the town offers a range of local and feature shops, along with three supermarkets, First and Middle Schools and The West Somerset College.
