Webbers Estate Agents is pleased to announce the promotion of Karlie Baker-Kidwell, Fiona Parrott and Lawrence Williams to the position of Associate Director, with immediate effect.
With approximately 40 years of combined service to Webbers, all three have played an important role in the continued growth, development and success of the business.
Their appointments recognise the increasing importance of three key areas across the Webbers Group: lettings growth and leadership, property management, and the continued development of marketing, digital technology, social media and staff training.
As Associate Directors, Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence will join the wider Director team, contributing to the future strategy and direction of Webbers while continuing to lead within their respective areas of expertise.
Malcolm Prescott, speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, said:
“Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence have each demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and expertise throughout their careers with Webbers. Their promotions reflect not only what they have already achieved, but also the important role they will play in shaping the next stage of our growth. As we continue to develop our services, invest in our people and strengthen our position across the South West, their experience and insight will be invaluable.”
Karlie Baker-Kidwell
Marketing, Social Media and Training
Karlie joined Webbers in early 2015, bringing extensive experience in building, managing, and developing sales teams within large corporate organisations.
Her expertise was instrumental in establishing the Webbers Customer Care team, which continues to make a significant contribution to the success of the business and has become a highly regarded model within the estate agency profession.
In recent years, Karlie has taken a leading role in the development of Webbers’ marketing, digital marketing, social media, technology and customer communication strategy.
Under her guidance, Webbers’ marketing and social media activity has received award-winning recognition within The Guild of Property Professionals network, reflecting the strength, creativity and consistency of the company’s approach.
Karlie also plays an important role in staff inductions, training and professional development, supporting colleagues across Webbers’ network of interconnected offices. She remains a key member of the New Homes team based at Head Office.
Her appointment reflects the vital role that marketing, technology, communication and people development will continue to play as Webbers evolves within an increasingly fast-moving property market.
Fiona Parrott
Lettings Hub
Fiona joined Webbers’ award-winning Lettings department in 2012 and has since played a central role in the development of the company’s dedicated Lettings Hub.
Working closely with Lawrence Williams, Fiona has helped create a highly professional and efficient team that supports landlords and tenants across the Webbers office network.
The Lettings Hub oversees the day-to-day management of clients’ properties and homes, helping to ensure that landlords remain supported, tenants receive a responsive service and properties are managed in accordance with the latest industry standards and legislation.
Fiona’s previous experience with Barclays was invaluable in helping to bring the vision of a centralised lettings management operation to life. Her structured approach, attention to detail and calm leadership have been essential in developing the department and managing its wide-ranging responsibilities.
Her promotion recognises her professionalism, leadership and unwavering commitment to Webbers’ clients, colleagues and continued lettings growth.
Lawrence Williams
Head of Lettings
Lawrence joined Webbers in the summer of 2011 with a clear objective: to grow the company’s lettings portfolio and strengthen its service across the entire office network.
At the time, Webbers managed approximately 200 properties. Today, the company manages around 1,000 properties, alongside approximately 500 tenant-find properties.
This substantial growth has created a strong and sustainable lettings operation, providing landlords with professional support while generating valuable ongoing business and future sales opportunities for Webbers’ offices.
Alongside this growth, the Webbers Lettings department has received a number of prestigious industry awards, recognising the improvements made in service, performance and professional standards.
Lawrence’s appointment as Associate Director acknowledges his leadership, specialist knowledge and the pivotal role he has played in developing Webbers Lettings into the successful and highly respected operation it is today.
Lindsay Braddick, also speaking on behalf of the Board of Directors, said:
“These appointments recognise the positive impact Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence have made across the business and, most importantly, for our clients and colleagues. Each of them has helped to improve the way we communicate, support our teams and deliver our services. Their professionalism, care and commitment are evident in everything they do, and we are delighted to welcome them to the wider Director team.”
Supporting the Future Growth of Webbers
The appointments of Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence strengthen the Webbers leadership team at an important stage in the company’s development.
Their collective knowledge and experience will help Webbers continue to expand its lettings services, invest in its people, develop its technology and deliver high-quality marketing and customer service across Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and Exmoor.
The Board of Directors warmly welcomes Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence to the wider Director team and looks forward to their contribution as Webbers continues to grow, innovate and provide an award-winning property service to clients across the South West.
Everyone at Webbers congratulates Karlie, Fiona and Lawrence on their thoroughly deserved promotions.
