On Thursday 11th December, the Relocation Agent Network (RAN) hosted its annual end-of-year Conference and Awards, Connected 25, in London, bringing together the very best of the UK’s independent estate agency sector.
The Relocation Agent Network is made up of almost 700 independent estate agency branches nationwide and enables its member agents to provide a high-quality, joined-up relocation service for clients moving to a different area of the country. Membership of the network is by invitation only, with agents undergoing rigorous scrutiny prior to acceptance, ensuring that only high-performing, trusted independent businesses are involved and that clients receive a truly first-class relocation experience.
Each year, member companies gather for the annual conference, which includes a full day of industry insight, networking and supplier engagement, followed by an evening awards dinner recognising the outstanding achievements of the network’s top-performing companies and individuals.
The 2025 conference was widely praised for its organisation, strong content and collaborative atmosphere. A highlight of the day was the return of Roger Martin-Fagg, behavioural economist, whose insights and predictions on the economy and housing market continue to be a key draw for attending agents. Delegates also enjoyed a varied and high-quality trade hall and the opportunity to connect and network with colleagues from across the country.
The event also showcased the charitable spirit of the network. Lee Hussell, Director at Webbers, was honoured to be invited to conduct the charity auction on behalf of Sarka Wilde, raising funds for the Propertymark Trust. The generosity shown on the night was truly inspiring, with an incredible £10,015 raised, underlining the network’s commitment to giving back alongside professional excellence.

A Standout Night for Webbers
For Webbers, the evening awards ceremony proved to be a landmark moment. The business was named Relocation Agent Network Agent of the Year, the highest accolade awarded by the network alongside winning both the Referral League category and Best Agent in the South West Region, making it a hugely successful and proud occasion.
Reflecting on the top award, Lee Hussell, Director at Webbers, said: “Winning Relocation Agent Network Agent of the Year is a truly special moment for Webbers and one we are incredibly proud of. What makes it even more meaningful is that this was the culmination of a clear plan we put in place 12 months ago at the 2024 Conference. We made a decision then to really push for the top award and to see that ambition turn into reality is incredibly rewarding. This achievement is entirely down to the dedication and hard work of our sales teams, who embraced the plan, executed it brilliantly, and delivered outstanding results.”
The Referral League award further highlighted Webbers’ consistency and strength in supporting relocation clients year after year, while being named Best Agent in the South West recognised the business’s leadership within a highly competitive region.
Malcolm Prescott, Managing Director of Webbers, commented: “As well as us winning the top award, we are delighted to also take home the Referral League award once again, which highlights the consistency and strength of our referral performance year after year. To be recognised as the leading agent in the South West is particularly pleasing, given the high calibre of estate agents in the region and the strong support they provide across the network. These awards are a real testament to the quality of our people and the collaborative culture we’ve built at Webbers.”

Individual Excellence Recognised on a National Stage
The awards also celebrated individual achievement, with Joshua Braddick from our Bideford office and Shannon Lethaby from our Ilfracombe office both being named among the Top 10 Sales Advisors in the UK within the Relocation Agent Network a significant national recognition.
Lee Hussell added: “For Joshua and Shannon to both be recognised in the top 10 Sales Advisors in the UK is a truly remarkable effort from them. This highlights their tenacity and their desire to go that extra mile to really want to help our clients receive a better relocation experience. Moving to another local street within your existing town is often hard enough, so for us to be able to provide our customers with high-end assistance when moving to a new area of the country really puts Webbers in a fantastic position. Huge congratulations to both Josh and Shannon.”
The success at Connected 25 marks a fitting end to a strong year for Webbers and reinforces the business’s position as one of the UK’s leading independent estate agencies, delivering outstanding service, strategic focus and consistent results for its clients and partners alike.
