The Webbers Annual Conference & Awards is always one of the standout events in our calendar, and this year was no exception. Over 105 colleagues joined us at The Mole Resort, bringing together an incredible 1,300 years of combined experience. The atmosphere was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and pride as we celebrated not only our heritage but also the bright future ahead.
Malcolm Prescott, Managing Director of Webbers, explains “As only the fourth Managing Director in Webbers’ 100-year history, I am so proud to stand alongside such a dedicated team. Our heritage is something to be immensely proud of, but our focus must always remain firmly on the future. By embracing the right innovations while never losing sight of the personal touch – those all-important phone calls, those genuine conversations – we will continue to deliver the outstanding award winning service our clients deserve. Our good reputation has been built over a century, and our future success rests in each of our hands.”
Our theme, “100 Years of Trust, Driving the Future,” perfectly captured the spirit of the day. With engaging panel discussions, inspiring presentations, and thought-provoking sessions, we left feeling motivated and energised. From exploring the opportunities of AI in property, to updates on the Renters’ Rights Bill and new homes strategy, the day was rich with insight and inspiration.
We were delighted to welcome guest speakers including Iain McKenzie, CEO of The Guild of Property Professionals & Fine & Country, and national trainer Claire Yates, whose humour, practical strategies, and one-liners left us with plenty to take back to our offices.
But as always, the highlight of the day was our Business Awards Ceremony in addition to our outstanding Company awards scooped this year in sales & lettings where Webbers were recognised as the “Best in the UK” in the Guild of Property Professionals awards sponsored by The Sunday Times – this was our opportunity to recognise the outstanding efforts of individuals and teams across Webbers.

This year also marked a special moment as we renamed one of our most prestigious accolades – the Napoleon Wilcox Fine & Country Office of the Year Award – in tribute to the late Napoleon Wilcox and John Spain, two much-loved former Board Directors whose legacies continue to inspire us.
